This restaurant in Connecticut is the best Italian restaurant around! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff goes above and beyond, and the live music adds a special touch. Donna, the hostess, is incredibly sweet and Avnor always ensures that my dining experience is excellent. I highly recommend trying the steak and the truffle ravioli. And don't miss out on the Napoleon for dessert – it's the best! It's definitely worth the drive from out of town to dine at Polpo.
Wood fired, chewy crust, tangy sauce, fresh milky mozzarella, and great topping options. Just a little wood fired char on the edges. Yum! We had the Bee sting which has a spicy cured meat (sopresatta? , honey, chile oil.... really delicious, with a tad of wood fired char on the edges of the crust. They also made an excellent kids pie with just cheese and olive oil for us. My three year old actually ate a slice and we gobbled up the rest!
I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff is authentic, highly attentive, and professional. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere is exactly what we all hope for but rarely come across. Whenever I am in the area for business, I make it a point to visit this restaurant. I often end up dining here multiple nights in a row. I consider myself very fortunate.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic! Jon, the bartender, provided excellent service. The staff is efficient and attentive. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch. Hands down the best pizza! We have been Polpo devotees for over 3 years now and they are always amazing and consistent. Dani and Tom are pros and know what they're doing. The selection rotates, but the Two Tomatoes is my absolute favorite. And if S'mores are available, get them. You won't regret it.
Just attended a party catered by Polpos Pizza. I am dumbstruck! All of the pizzas were delicious and the Truffle Pizza was over the moon! The staff was so friendly and accommodating they seamlessly blended into the party atmosphere.From a guest perspective, I highly recommend them!!

By far the only pizza worth eating in Sarasota. The margarita pizza is awesome. I wish they would drive around town like the ice cream truck because I would chase them down!
