Bar pop is a nice little bar located in canal street and Id say it is very welcoming and safe, the bouncers are on top of everything and always look out for everyone just don't try and come in wearing joggers. The drinks are a little pricey but they tend to have some offer on like 3 for £10 shots. The music and djs tend to be very entertaining and also very enthusiastic towards customers with interactions and support when performing karaoke. The place is generally hassle free and they are quick to get rid of overly drunk people quite fast, which has been me once or twice, but it's understandable, it's for the safety and comfort of others. Was a really good night until we encountered the tiny doorman corey who was arrogant, rude and honestly a little bit inappropriate with my partner. He refused to let us in for no discernable reason other than the fact he was on a power trip and could refuse us entry. He completely ruined my partners birthday for no reason other than the fact that he didn 't like the look of us, which I thought was a little homophobic. You really need to take a deeper look into your staff as we won 't be coming again due to this
If I could leave zero stars I would. Bouncer wouldn’t let us in because we were in a group, 3 of us, a group? Extremely rude and arrogant as we walked towards the door ‘no way you’re getting in here tonight’ was the greeting we received, when asked why the answer was they don’t allow groups! Never heard anything as ridiculous, looking at the reviews it seems there’s one bouncer in particular who is the one with the attitude! Spend your money elsewhere!
I enjoy this restaurant, but it can get extremely crowded at times. It becomes difficult to dance on those nights, as you are mostly just standing in one spot and moving your shoulders slightly while making way for people entering or leaving. Definitely the best venue on Canal Street, by a long way. Great food, awesome staff, very friendly bouncers too! Viva la Diva is the owner/ hostess with the mostest...in every way with the best showteam around. And to boot it all, she's got heart and really cares about her customers.
Pretty spacious venue, although it was pretty crowded when I went due to it being a private event. Staff are very nice and are very good at understanding you despite the music being just slightly too loud for me. Causing me to have to take a few breaks outside.
We enjoyed a fantastic cabaret show at BarPop thanks to the talented Jackie and Lavender. The show featured amazing comedy, singing, dancing, and stunning costumes. Thank you to the ladies for a memorable evening! #DivasatBarPop
I loved everything about this bar. A group of friends and I went to see the musical drag show and it was non-stop fun. The bartenders were very attentive. I would definitely recommend this bar to everyone. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Loved this spot. Great for dancing unabashedly and for cocktails. The drag performers are lovely and welcoming. We had a great time!
