The woman working the counter (claimed to be the manager) literally lied to my face about sauce, even when I offered to pay for it. Went back in to ask about one of my sides, but before I even open my mouth to speak, she comes right back to the front with what now??? . Then assumes I 'm asking for something larger when in fact it was an issue about the quality of the food I was served (literally burnt). This restaurant location is being on the cheap side. There are coupons via mobile but even orders made in the restaurant, the owners prefer to give out older pieces of chicken, more than likely, hours old. People want fresh chicken, not chicken that is hard to bite into or looks overheated. Hell, I received a burnt biscuit with my meal today. I’m honestly surprise they even still have customers willingly to come in with how slow they are, taking more than 20 minutes on mobile orders AND in restaurant orders. The one Latino lady who has been working there for years has the same attitude, receives the most customer complaints regarding her behavior yet she is still working there.
I have tried different locations, but this one is the worst. The puerto rican woman that work there, I think is the manager, has the worst customer service in earth, the food is bad, and if you buy 20 pieces of chicken and ask for a sauce they deny it. They give like 5 fries, so stingy. I used to eat in a Brooklyn location and they include sauces with your order, everything hot and crispy, but here in paterson they look at you like if they are doing a favor to you selling their horrible food.
I ordered medium 5 piece ckn strips meal and a spicy ckn sandwich meal. When I got home, one soda had just seltzer in it since it ran out while it was being filled up and nobody noticed. The red beans and rice side order had the rice hard and inedible and the ckn sandwich was missing the sauce and not even a pickle. So one out of two meals was just worthless and this was not even a late night order, but at 9pm, hours before the store closes and they weren't even busy.

I've been a fan of Popeyes since I was a kid, and tonight's visit was exceptional thanks to Lisa. Even though I had to wait for my chicken, she kept me informed throughout the process. I didn’t mind the wait at all because the food was fresh. The customer service was simply outstanding. Lisa is a true asset to the team, and she really raises the standard. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This is a fantastic restaurant! The food was served hot, and the service was prompt. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I didn’t have to wait long for my meal. I do wish they had a menu displayed outside, but the team member took the time to explain the dishes and available combos in detail. I will definitely be coming back soon, and I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Trash, never will I go back. Brought over $20.00 worth of food and was given 2 sauce packets, I requested a few extra and told I would have to pay!! Like over spending for food wasn’t enough. I am a delivery driving and will never go back to this location.
Horrible service and the drive-through is very unorganized. I left there and went to the one on Haledon ave.. Much better service and definitely friendlier.
