Still can't get it right??? I gave a 3 for effort but c'mon, why can't everything be correct!!! I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender. That was correct. Ordered the shrimp combo with 2 tenders, spicy, cocktail sauce and blackened ranch dressing. Got home,no sauces, tenders mild, not spicy! Receipt said mild which isn't what I said. She repeated it back to me spicy,don't know howthat got screwed up! I went back because everyone said the new manager changed things around. The people that waited on me werepolite, food came out hot. So close to being perfect but not enough for me to go back! Sorry
The food was decent during my visit, but the staff left much to be desired. I haven’t encountered such disorganization at a corporate chain restaurant in a long time. The lobby is frequently closed, and it’s cash only most of the time, which is fine for us. The wait for food is manageable if you can actually get service. On one occasion, I arrived to find that nobody was there to work; there wasn't a single notification posted anywhere, and customers were left to face a business without staff. If this is the state of Popeyes now, they really need to reassess their operations.
The food was fresh, and the $6 box is a great value, significantly cheaper than most items on Popeyes' menu. The Mac and Cheese is excellent, and I particularly enjoy the Red Beans and Rice. I haven't dined inside the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the atmosphere. However, the service was prompt, and the woman at the Drive-thru was very professional and friendly. I've had nothing but positive experiences at this location, and I definitely recommend giving it a try.
I was very clear with my order, specifying that I wanted just a 3-piece chicken and a biscuit, not a combo. I asked for a breast, thigh, and leg and was charged accordingly. However, I ended up with a thigh, leg, and wing instead. Unfortunately, I didn't check until I got home since it was a to-go order, and I was quite disappointed. Maybe the next time I visit in three years, they'll get it right.
