Ordered food through Doordash. Been wanting to try this place since I moved here. Originally everything seemed good; however I'm highly upset. Biggest reason is that I'm in bed dealing with what I believe is food poisoning. My fish was delicious until I got to my second piece and noticed halfway through that it was pink tinged. It tasted mushy, but honestly I was hungry and that fish fry batter was nicely seasoned. My crisp cabbage was burnt and had no real flavor. The biggest let down was the peach cobbler. First time eating from them a few months back. I had the pop roast, mac n cheese, and black eyed peas. Mac n cheese was pretty MID in my opinion. Love when my mac n cheese is ooey-gooey, savory and flavorful and it didn't have much of any. The black eyed peas were good no complaints. The pot roast was on average, like the mac n cheese wanted a little more flavor but the meat and veggies were tender. Food was well packed since I got it on delivery. I'm giving them another go to see if I'll like other options off their menu. However off of first impressions I'll give them a solid 3.5. ?
Great food and great portions, as a family of 5 we have lots of options and can try many things and never had a bad meal. I do recommend that if you order pork skins ask for the fresh out of the cooker as the come out hot and still sizzling! We have eaten at night 3 time and the food was good. We decided to go for lunch Friday, July 21 but never again the fish was terrible, salad lettuce had been frozen, okra undercooked (cold) rolls hard and cold she brought more but they were the same, Lima beans were cold, broccoli was so cold butter would not melt. Corn bread was also cold.Tea was good for $40.00

This has become mine and my wife's favorite restaurant in the Bartlett area. Food is always good and so many things on the menu to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is always clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The bow-tie pasta is amazing. My wife likes the Hawaiian grilled chicken. Hopefully, they'll be around a long time.

Our server Chelsea approached table unhosbitable. Acted as if she did not want to be at work. Never smiled. Talked very low made unhappy facial expressions. Would not have her wait on us again
Wonderful comfort foods! Everything I have tried was delicious. The service is always great. Family friendly atmosphere. Try the pickled tomatoes.

It's not bad for the kind of food they serve. Love the adult hot chocolate it's so good.
