I recently ordered catering for my aunt's 60th birthday from this restaurant. The pick-up process was easy and convenient. The sushi was delicious with generous portions and a variety of options. Each sushi roll had a generous amount of salmon. They also provided plenty of soy sauce for the event.
This charming restaurant is operated by a sweet elderly Japanese couple and offers delicious traditional sushi. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive, catering well to a western palate. They always inquire about wasabi tolerance for those who prefer to avoid it.
My favourite takeaway sushi shop! Cleanly prepared and really fresh, authentic nigiri, sashimi and maki/hand rolls. I will definitely be coming back again and again. Would 100% recommend it, particularly if you live around the Ivanhoe area.

The ingredients were of high quality and absolutely delicious. We ordered the number 8 sushi roll and were especially impressed by how fresh and flavorful it was. We will definitely return to try more of their sushi options!
They are the tastiest, freshest sushi around Ivanhoe. The Japanese couple is ultra-cute and polite. Only bad thing is it's cash only and you have to wait about 10 min to pick up your food (cos it's made on the spot)

lovely couple who handmake the sushi to order. Exceptionally good value and one of the best in the area. Definitely worth coming in again
