Awesome Experience...I tried the ribs and Pastrami...very high quality BBQ, each rib was like a mini bone in pork chop..in other words...high quality pork ribs .The Pastrami is one of the best around. The Carolina Gold sauce goes well with it. What also impressed me was the Mac and cheese and the baked beans....they were the only sides I tried but again....they use great quality ingredients as well as putting the time and care into making them stand out...I travel a lot and sample many a BBQ place...these guys are doing it right...so many places skimp on the sides or use average quality and cuts and expect their reputation or sauce to carry them..I am looking forward to trying more from the...
We had a great first experience at this restaurant. The server was friendly and helpful. We recommend trying the Carolina Gold and Alabama White BBQ sauces, both of which are unique and delicious. The sweet BBQ sauce was also a hit. We didn't get to try the spicy sauce this time, but maybe next time. The Saturday specials offer large portions, and we suggest taking advantage of the buy one, get one free deal on pastries. We enjoyed the Pecan Pie and Bread Pudding. We were so full from our meal that we only ate half of the fries and took the leftover dessert home. The restaurant is cute and clean, and we will definitely be back when we're in the area again.
Today (4/29/23) is my first time here. Food was excellent. Ordered BBQ Pork with Sweet Sauce, onion hush puppies (didn't see it on menu but saw customer on past review mention them), and bbq beans. Loved everything I had-pork was seasoned perfectly on a perfect bun vessel that complimented the sandwich, the bbq beans had some meat and other seasonings but left the beans as the star, and the hushpuppies were a perfect bite size with outer crispiness and just enough onion seasoning inside to me wanting another in my mouth right I after I finish one. Definitely will be back again.
Really delicious! Ordered using UberEats, and I was shocked how hot and fresh everything still was. The pulled pork sandwich was fantastic and had a great smokey flavor. My husband said Porky's sweet barbeque sauce may be his favorite barbeque sauce he's ever had! Mac cheese was also excellent and well seasoned.Edit: had to order again, and it was just as good the second time. The pork belly burnt ends literally melt in your mouth. Beans were great. Will definitely be a regular at Porky's.

I tried their combo sandwich featuring pulled pork and brisket. The meat was incredibly tender, and the bread was quite good. However, the meat was a bit on the salty side, which I personally didn’t enjoy, but if you prefer saltier flavors, you might find it appealing. The sauce was just mediocre. When I visited, it was primarily a takeout spot, but the owner mentioned they plan to offer dine-in soon. Keep in mind that there's only street parking available.
I’ve visited this restaurant before and was very happy with my experience. However, this time I only ordered the brisket sandwiches, and they were dry and tough. This was quite different from what I had expected. I was disappointed. I’ll give it another shot, since I enjoyed it in the past, but I won’t only order brisket next time. Food rating: 1/5.
I was at the restaurant for an event and decided to get carryout. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the BBQ sauces and salad dressing, and since they close so early, I couldn't return to get them. The food was okay otherwise, and it might have been even better if they could get the basics right. Overall, I would rate the food 2 out of 5.
As for parking, there are only a few street spots available in the busy downtown area. You might need to park a few blocks away and walk, but it wasn't a hassle since it was the weekend. The area is surrounded by strip malls with limited parking options.

Super fire!!! I got the wings, rib tips, and the fries. Sadly wasn't able to try the rib tips bc they weren't in the bag when I got home but oh we'll mistakes happen. Most def will come back even with the in-convince I had. THATS HOW GOOD IT IS!
I gave this restaurant five stars for the ribs! I ordered cheesy French fries as a side, and they could use some improvement. Would I return just for the ribs? Definitely! Food: 5/5
