Porridge Things - Tisch reservieren

Don?t understand why this place is not above 4.5 stars. The food is so yummy and definitely worth a 5 star? I?m not from Chiu Chow where this restaurant is all about, but I?m from Hokkien which is adjacent to Chiu Chow and our foods have so much incommon. I?m feeling home dining here. The food here is extremely authentic, incredibly flavorful, and hearty??foods are tasty ofcourse but most importantly, you?re guaranteed to walk away feeling comfortable and satiated. ??? has that crusty skin and onionhint and we cannot stop, ??? is so flavorful, ??? and ?? are way beyond our expectation because they?re done just right withcrusty outside and tasteful inside. This was my first time coming to this place. I ordered 2 serving porridge which it could serve 4 people and everyone could get 2 bowls. I also had clay pot fish. It was surprisingly good. I was recommended to order half of a chicken for 18 bucks. Thechicken was pretty tasty, but 18 bucks for a small half of a chicken was a bit pricey. I also liked their noodle. Overall... theservices were good. The quality of food was good enough where I would come back to try different dishes. One thing I didn't likewas that they calculated the tips along with tax, which I don't think it's fair, especially we don't get served by TAX or TAXdoesn't provide food. I gave them 18% of tips before tax.

This is my first time here, the taste is very good, the shrimp and crab are very fresh, the other dishes are delicious, I will come again next time.

Service was adequate and food was decent. Only peeve was we received the bill while we were still eating, about half way. What kind of $hit is that?
