We had reservations at 6pm and were promptly seated when we walked in the door a few minutes early. Our server was nice but he might have been new. Other servers came to our table to help him out. We ordered drinks the were fine. Food came out quickly. We got the gnocchi and short rib fettuccine. Gnocchi was great the short rib fettuccine could have been better. Had the crème brûlée it was really good.
As an Italian American, it can be difficult to find an Italian restaurant that compares to our family's cooking. Porto exceeded my expectations - the pasta tasted incredibly fresh. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit cramped, but they make the most of the space they have.
Although our server was somewhat rude and the service was slow, the food was delicious. If the goal is to have more customers by turning tables quickly, then the service needs to be faster.
Back again and again great food and service. Tried the Rigatoni spicy pink creamy grappa sauce and was great. The favorite always is the appetizer MELANZANA STACK
