I'm autistic. How autistic, you ask? I tried to go into this Potbelly alone, having never been to the chain before. This is already scary and overwhelming. The staff were very busy with beginning of the day activities, but still took their time to help me figure out how to order. In the end I was so frazzled and confused I forgot to pay. The staff, presumably seeing my distressed state, didn't even call me on it.Once I realize I called in to pay over the phone. The gentleman was very kind, and it almost seemed like he wasn't going to ask me to pay until i insisted.(it was very obvious i was having a hard time in the store) I recognized this as the taller black gentleman that had helped show...
I’m changing my review below several months on because the vibe since I last went in has totally changed. I love their sandwiches and the service has really improved. Thanks, Potbelly!Wow, extremely rude customer service from the older man making sandwiches this afternoon. I walked out without a sandwich—no thank you. I am happy to take my business somewhere they need and appreciate it.
The food was excellent as always, but the service was lacking. A middle-aged blonde woman at the cash register was extremely rude and impatient, even though there was no line at the time. Additionally, the person adding condiments unexpectedly grabbed my sandwich back from me. It's not difficult to be polite to customers... only the man taking sandwich orders seemed to understand that.
From my experience, and the reviews of others, this is a location where you'll get the best service if you come in and order. I like to order via the app and there's always a little something off with my sandwich (i.e. I order extra onions and somehow get no onions at all). Otherwise, the sandwiches are good and my order is usually ready when I get there.

I love this potbelly so much! The staff are always so kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and always has plenty of room. Also got a catering order from here once and the manager was so kind and helpful! Highly highly recommend this potbelly for a quick and tasty meal.
I love potbelly. The Sandwiches never lose quality never.But today that changed. I don’t think there washing the soda machine because my stomach is other upset after i have a drink there

The food is great, I like the chicken more cooked though. Their chicken bia healthy but half cooked.
