Everything was perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Taylor, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, providing us with all the information we needed and making the day run smoothly. The chef was outstanding and very accommodating, especially considering our party and the bride had several food allergies. We received numerous compliments on how delicious the hors d'oeuvres and meals were. The owner, Skip, was very involved, closely monitoring the weather. Although it ended up pouring rain, the alternative reception in the ballroom and cocktail hour downstairs was just as wonderful, and the entire staff worked quickly to rearrange everything for the indoor plans. My family and I recently had brunch here. I was very disappointed. We ordered crab dip and roasted cauliflower. They were pretty good. Then we had steak eggs, stuffed French toast, Chef's omelet, and side French toast. The flavor was okay but the temp when we finally got served (the side French toast long after the other entrees, and without the butter and extra syrup I'd requested when placing the order in hopes of avoiding this very issue) was cold/barely warm. I would have told our seemingly flustered waitress this has she come back around and asked how it was.. Instead we muddled through leaving a lot on our plates. To be honest when I drove up to this winery I was very impressed. The winery itself is beautiful, however the wine could be better. Our waitress was not very attentive, and when I would ask her for additional items like another wine glass it seemed to have annoyed her judging by her face. The wine was not that great, I tried the Rose and it was horrible. My friends also ordered two sangria pitchers and one of the sangrias tasted like bug spray. For brunch I ordered the French toast and it was dry. How you make French toast dry, I'm not sure. All in all I was disappointed with how the visit turned out.
Tasting associate Tiffany was an absolute pleasure. We opted for a guided tasting so we could ask questions, rather than doing a self-guided flight, which seems to be the norm for table and food reservations. My friend chose the Grand Cru tasting, while I went with the Premier, and there was only a slight overlap between the two. Tiffany's expertise regarding the wines they offer, as well as wine in general, was impressive. I highly recommend opting for a tasting experience for the added information. It’s quite a challenge to find a good spot to sit, even when the restaurant is only half full. We took our wine flights to a nearly empty shaded area, as suggested, but were told we had to either relocate to a sunlit area or settle for a shady corner in the parking lot. After all the confusion and the unnecessary division of patrons, it was hard to fully appreciate the mediocre wine.
Definite 5/5. This winery is exceptional in all ways. It's a beautiful property and beautiful scenery, nestled back in a secluded area despite being relatively close to the city. The service is top notch, the wine is phenomenal, and the food in the bistro is delicious. I give it my highest recommendation. A place this great is why I don't give 5's often.
I had my wedding here in July of 2023. When I say it turned out amazing the staff was awesome , the food was amazing, the venue it self is beyond beautiful. I would highly recommended booking your wedding here. You will not regret it !!
The crab dip appetizer was incredible, and my fish tacos were simply delicious. Everyone in our group praised their meals. The servers were very friendly, and we were treated to a stunning sunset while trying a selection of wines. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
