In Lutruwita, there is a sense of hopelessness that can be felt throughout the cultural scene. Praties, a staple in this region, embodies this feeling of despair. It is fast food that seems to be made for a prison setting, a bland and unappetizing meal that simply helps you survive another mundane day. There is no taste, no flavor, and definitely no sense of hope. The service is strictly takeout.
I had a lunch at this restaurant and it was a fantastic dining experience. The price per person ranged from A$20 to A$40. The food was top-notch and I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also impeccable, earning another 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well, scoring a perfect 5 out of 5. Overall, I highly recommend dining at this restaurant for a perfect meal.
Very cold, morbid and dull atmosphere which is why I can't even give it 1 star for. Service was careless ie they seemed like they really don't care if you are there or not. Ordered medium scallops and only 1 scallop. Returned and enquired and all they said was we can take your name so next time you come in we will make sure it doesn't happen again. Takes nothing to smile and have some form of customer service but nothing.....never again will I order from there. My curry scallop dish only had three small scallops and mostly mashed potatoes. It was not worth the $17 price tag. The customer service was lacking and nonchalant. I used to enjoy this restaurant, but I will not be returning. Food quality, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5.
I would not recommend this restaurant, it would be better to try the other Praties nearby. The potatoes lacked flavor and the milkshake was not properly mixed. The cost per person for lunch is between $1-$20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 2 out of 5.
