Primrose Café - Tisch resevieren

I've visited primrose cafe a number of times before as although it can be busy they've always had gluten and dairy free options but I won't be visiting again. Firstly I was given a hot drink when I ordered it iced. Not a problem at...all as easy error but when I politely pointed this out as the drinks were given to us the woman who appeared to be the manager or owner sighed and eye rolled. I ordered my food with the same lady and clearly stated the meal needed to be gluten and dairy free. When the food was given to us by a different waitress I double checked it was gluten free (I'm a worrier as it makes me ill) and she said no they had given me normal bread but apologised and took it back. I know I should have said something. they know when they feel a sense of the way and wise how a place runs and they think they should know better. that was one of them. Do you know that the smell when a shirring towel has to wash? It...was that. Maybe the tables had been wiped off with one, not immediately obvious, but as soon as they are aware of it. we arrived shortly after 9 which is not early to the breakfast, but the manager spent most of the time we were there about the waiting personal work rotas in the room while the people waited to order. you act together and open it privately or before! the coffee was good, but the pain chocolat came cold so that the chocolate was hard and unmelte...

I've been to The Primrose many times since it opened (when it was a great restaurant and cafe) but today was definitely the last time. My coeliac friend ordered smashed avocado on gf bread without the dukkah topping as she's also allergic to hazelnuts. I...ordered eggs Benedict. Hers cane out with dukkah so had to go back. Mine came out with water from the poached eggs on rhe plate making the barely toasted muffin wet and soggy, so that went back too. In the end both were replaced (though not together) and were adequate. We sat outside on a warm December day and had the soup and toastie deal. Excellent soup, nice vegetarian croque, decent fries and delicious craft beer. great place for a bite to eat before and after a walk through the shops. really nice staff and eating was very tasteful; wonderful waffel! I would highly recommend eating for a bite or a coffee. clifton is a great place to visit!

This place is a gem! Excellent food and a great variety for vegetarians and vegans. The food was also very filling. The setting is gorgeous near the little shops and overlooking a park. We always visit it when in Bristol.

visited with my man, brother and doggy. beautiful location, friendly staff and delicious food. we all had a cooked breakfast. very nice. very recommended, especially on a sunny day.

Absolutely fabulous full monty breakfasts and coffee. On a quiet Tuesday morning it was still pretty busy which is always a good sign.
