We had an event here in the private dining room upstairs and it was exceptional. The staff made us feel so welcome. The food - uh-mazing (only remembered to take photos of nibbles + dessert, mains were gone so quickly). We ordered pretty much all of the small plates; the curry peanuts and warmed olives are awesome drinking food if you were just going for a tipple. We had the KFD 'Kentucky-Fried Duck' and it was as ridiculous as it sounds, for mains we had the pork and lamb - and desserts; do yourself a favour and order all 3 (plus the cheese, while you're at it) - they were a bit spesh. Went here, after a recommendation, for a business dinner. And it turned out to be perfect!The food is amazing quality, has a discussion rousing menu and staff are amazing. It is all based around share plates, but this is fine dining, with the ability to try a wide range of different dishes.A big thing for me was that it was still more than quiet enough for us to talk at the table, even though there were lots of people at the bar having a drink.Highlights on the menu were the Salmon Ceviche, KFD, Pork Belly & 'Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate'.If you need somewhere to eat near the courts or Roma St, I definitely recommend!
I enjoyed a family birthday dinner at this fabulously atmospheric restaurant. The food is creative with influences from Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean and the US with their tongue in cheek KFD (Kentucky Fried Duck) a highlight and far superior to it's namesake. The menu is designed for sharing so we were able to sample many of the dishes. Even my fussy, spice-averse father enjoyed all the food and I was very grateful the chili was on the side for the Jamaican Jerk Chicken. The wine list is extensive and well curated. The service was friendly and efficient and they ensured a wonderfully, memorable birthday dinner.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food which was innovative and presented artistically. The experience was well worth it. Only flaw was the prices. It's the sort of place that I'd go once for the experience but not again due to the cost. There are many other eateries with great food and much better value.

Great service. Right from walking in the door. A foyer to a large commercial building. Good ambiance. Good wine list. Modern dining with share plates recommended. Crispy Barumundi and a lamb dish very nice. Small menu but when you add two together well done. Not quiet but well done.
Enthusiastic and thoughtful, good martini with outstanding olives. Oysters freshly shucked and ok; wine list pretty good. I liked it and would come back; they wouldn't need to do much to make this place really good! I hope they do.
