the sushi and the lobster/cratt bisque w/miso were amazing. went on valentines day, which was probably a bad idea for the first visit, but also with a few snafus in service was the experience great. did not have the right sake we had ordered was water in styrofoam, although others with glasses, and never received some of the items we soy sauce, but do not let them stop that they requested to go. I think it was just because they were in the position for the romantic holiday. will definitely go back.
at the door nearly 20 minutes waited about the time of our reservation and never taken place. another couple went out and told us they waited 45 minutes after they sat and had never been getting menus. we left. the food looked good so we could come back. but for a first experience it was not good.
Such a wonderful place to just have a conversation with your dinner mate. That's rare in most of the Bistro-type ambience restaurants where you can't hear a thing. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Great house salad with ginger dressing and excellent menu with lots of options. Love it!
I reserved a table online but when I got there the doors were locked during normal operating hours. This left me with no time to get lunch during my busy day. I was outraged especially since I’ve been here before and loved their sushi. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I must say that I have always been happy when dining at the restaurant. However, tonight I opted for delivery and was quite disappointed.
I work near Purple but haven't visited often. Today's lunch served as a great reminder of how good it is.
We always enjoy Purple Bistro. The food is delicious, service is good and prices are reasonable.
