The young lady took my order, closed the transaction, and then asked for payment. I looked at my child, who looked at me, and I asked if it was okay for them to place an order as well. The young lady seemed surprised, as if my child had just appeared out of nowhere. As the manager came up behind her, they both shared a laugh. This is where the problem lies! It seems that whenever there’s poor customer service, this particular manager is around. He seems more focused on joking with the young staff than ensuring customers are taken care of. I don’t mean to sound like I’m just complaining, but good customer service should make patrons feel welcome in your establishment, and that can’t happen...
It's one of the few franchise BBQ joints that I like to go to. There are a few flaws with the place but honestly, for the price you pay, it is definitely worth going to. If you like barbecue and if you are kind of patriotic, this is definitely a place for you. My recommendation is a chopped brisket sandwich with two sides and a drink. Typically I get either fries, potato salad, mac and cheese and baked beans. We have been going once or twice a week to this location since they opened. Very pro military and law enforcement which we like. We go so often we know staff. A nice place for casual dining at a reasonable price. We absolutely adore this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The vibe is awesome and has a strong patriotic theme. The food was simply amazing. The kids had a blast with their sliders and mac and cheese! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, while my husband tried the meat trio platter and appreciated the variety of different cuts.
