The meat dumplings here, according to my boyfriend, are great!! He ordered the pork coriander and beef corn and he thoroughly enjoyed both types! With the pork coriander ranking higher than the beef one in his opinion! Unfortunately for me, a vegetarian, found the vegetarian dumplings pretty lackluster in terms of flavor hence why I give 3 stars. I ordered the tofu vegetable and the zucchini black fungus vermicelli dumplings. The tofu one was pretty mushy inside and the second one was only okay but kind of bland. They were all basic ingredients so I’m not surprised they didn’t taste like much. My boyfriend also tried them and told me that they were nothing compared to the pork and beef ones...
This dumpling restaurant came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! Thank goodness we got the last table because right afterwards, a huge lineup built up and after we ate our food, we knew exactly why! There is a large selection of different dumplings and we selected one steamed and one fried along with appetizers of hot and sour soup and the pickled cucumbers. All of the selections were beautifully prepared. The soup was rich and flavorful and the cucumbers were cool and refreshing. The dumplings were generously filled and very juicy! For sure will be back next time we are in town!
I recently visited a restaurant on de Maisonneuve Boulevard in the heart of Chinatown, and I was eager to try it out. The dumplings here are just as delicious as I expected, and the service was excellent. However, be prepared for a bustling atmosphere; this place is often very busy, so you may have to wait in line for a table. If you're a couple, you'll get seated much faster, but for larger groups like ours (we were five), we waited about 30 minutes for a table. Overall, the food was definitely worth the wait!
Qing Hua was our backup choice after the first restaurant only accepted cash. Fortunately, Qing Hua Dumpling accepts credit cards, which made things much more convenient for us. My friend also appreciated the variety of vegetarian options available. The service was efficient, with fewer staff members, but the waiters were very attentive and clever. I absolutely love this place! We stumbled in for a quick snack, but ended up with way more food than we could finish, and it was just as tasty later that evening! The service was incredibly fast, and for only $12.99, you get 15 pieces. We ordered the steamed Tiger Shrimp, Pork Leek, and pan-roasted Chicken Mushroom, and they were all delicious. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area. We'll definitely be returning when we find ourselves in Montreal!
The service at the chinatown location was extremely slow, we had to wait over 30 mins to get our food and the place wasn't even that busy. I got the shrimp leak egg dumpling which weren't the best, for some reason they switched to disposable plates and their spring rolls were stale and did not taste fresh. This time was overall a disappointment.
Best Dumpling in Montreal and fantastic service. I order steam pork shrimp cloth dumplings. It is very juicy, fired dumplings are very crispy, and price is reasonable. I love this place. If I have the chance, I will definitely come back.

Amazing dumpling place where you have a lot of different dumplings to choose, also dumplings with porc and shrimp. It’s not a fancy place but the cuisine is awesome! Would recommend to go there.
