dinner in (small) family on a Saturday night. I chose this restaurant thanks to trip advisor who places it n°1 to reims. we had chosen menu No. 2 (suki). Very sharp presentation of the dishes. pde high quality (y/c herbs coming from the private garden!). wedding of amazing tastes (in the right sense of the term). cooking millimetre. It is very good with a correct price for this level of kitchen. It should be noted, however, that the menus are closed (without choice) but the chef finds a solution if you want to change a dish. the decor is minimalist, very refined. good choice of wines at reasonable prices. bravo for the champagne offered in aperitif (and ratafia for dessert). What a great taste experience! This is the kind of cuisine you don 't find anywhere, a real spectacle from start to finish. It 's difficult to describe what we ate there: no this dish was good, I recommend because it 's not a dish, but a succession of bites. This is where we enter a story like we see so much on top chef, except that here we live it! So yes it 's not cheap but it 's hours of pleasure, we 're not in a fast food restaurant. The welcome is top notch, nothing is too much trouble, the atmosphere is discreet, charming, it 's Japanese Zen, all in simplicity: a real joy. Ein beeindruckendes, sehr feines Menü, eher für "fortgeschrittene" Esser. Mir hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen, aber ich vermute, das diese filigrane Küche nicht jedermanns Geschmack ist. Man muss sich schon darauf einlassen, wird dann aber reich belohnt.Die Einrichtung ist ungewöhnlich schlicht, wird vermutlich nicht jedem gleichermaßen gefallen. Gläser, Porzellan und Tischwäsche sind aber vom Feinsten. Service zwar professionell, aber recht zurückhaltend und etwas schüchtern. Ein wenig mehr Herzlichkeit und Zugewandtheit würden das nüchterne Interieur noch besser auffangen. Beeindruckende Auswahl an Winzer-Champagner - klasse! Weinauswahl gut.
More than a meal, an experience! Restaurant that we frequent very occasionally (every 2-3 years) with immense pleasure each time. Both on the plate and in the room, everything is perfect, precise and very well done. Each plate is a work always marked by a little “twist” which highlights the different flavors. The service is discreet and extremely efficient. The price is usual for this type of establishment and corresponds to the experience you will have there. Finally, the wine list is very well stocked and the sommelier offers excellent advice.
We went to dinner at root one Friday night. an out-of-the-ordinary restaurant or everything is done for the pleasure of the customer. Elegance, refinement and professionalism are the three words that come to mind. We followed the advice of the sommelier and no disappointment! Careful service. And of course, the plates! Thank you for this incursion of the tastes of the revisited Orient. a do and redo without moderation. just a word about the price, it's high but fully corresponds to the quality of the food and the work.
meticulous, aesthetic and very refined cuisine. a mixture of flavours and textures. The sleek frame is in perfect agreement with the proposed kitchen style. The open kitchens allow you to realize the minuty given to each dish, from the amusing mouth to the desserts. And above all, everything is good. The map, changing every 3 weeks, very much next time!
Fantastisch gegeten bij Restaurant Racine. Van de amuses tot aan de desserts, alles even geweldig. Prachtig opgemaakte gerechten die een ware smaakexplosie gaven in je mond. De michelinster meer dan waard. De inrichting sober maar sfeervol en met veel gevoel voor stijl en privacy. We komen hier graag nog een keer terug!
Excellente soirée passée entre amis. Service impeccable avec un personnel aimable et courtois. Côté repas, c’était un délice tant visuel que gustatif. Étant enceinte, le chef s’est adapté aux restrictions alimentaires et à la cuisson de tous les plats sur l’entièreté du menu, c’est très agréable. Merci
