My wife and I have been living at Eagan Metro Station for years. We've eaten at Rack Shack since they had their old location on the street, about a mile away. This has led to a drastic drop in quality in the last year or so, while prices have risen noticeably. We have always got the complete shelf that we would later take some ribs home for a quick snack. Now we're lucky if our order is completely edible. The maize baker has no taste or tastes. Your fries are usually overdue. This was formerly the best rib place in the entire South Metro area, but it is most lost, it is glory. We're looking for something better for years of loyalty.
Food is excellent. Seriously. Cleanliness of tables and bathrooms never make me want again unfortunately. Also, f covid. Because I'm sure this is the reason why there are no plates and more tables as it was before. But if I eat, give me a plate! Hobby 3 should be an absolute mess and I want to bring half of it home because of the portion size! Finally, the lighting is in place and was always a little, strange. Maybe you don't need to spend a ton. It is the temple, maybe use the name as your guide.
This is another must visit. We hadn't been to this newer location yet and we weren't disappointed. We had the three meat Hobo platter (we chose the brisket, pulled pork and chicken). Absolutely delightful! I highly recommend you try it! The 1280 Patriot burger was also tried with BBQ'ed beans. Holy cow (no pun intended), that was awesome. Just phenomenal flavor! Believe it or not, they also have fantastic milkshakes. My suggestion? The caramel! It's a must have! I hope this helps. Cheers.
Full disappointment. Brisket was synonymous with dried jerk. The sides were cold. The staff was young and not experienced to help us with our concern. update 08/01/2022 Rack-Hack reached me and suggested I contact Store Manager by email... Email sent over 4 weeks ago and no answer, called memory, no recall. No good look safe.
