I found this place while exploring en route back to the NJTransit station. Rahway is in deep trouble if this is the best fried chicken they can do! The place is no frills, with very colorful menus hanging up. Several tables and an ice cream counter. The chicken is quick and cheap but tastes like it is. I got the two piece mix for $6.40. Popped in to grab a quick lunch to go. Place was small but clean, sit down seating wasn't available which was unfortunate but understandable for now. Onto the food review! I got the 2 piece chicken with fries and a side of potato salad since the Mac and cheese wasn't available. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside so that's a solid 4/5 stars, the fries were the usual easy to make fries nothing special, nothing bad. The girls are always nice here. If you want something quick and good to eat you should definitely stop by. I've only pretty much had their Buffalo wings which are really good and their beef Pattie's but I see people order everything here. Great prices and always clean! Damn! This place cooks the worst fried chicken I have ever had.. literally the worst. It was so upsetting I just threw away the rest of my box. Ate 3 out the 10 piece.... I gave it two stars because their cheese fries weren't bad at all. At least that satisfied me...
The drums n flats were so salty and the full wings were bland. They didn't pay any attention to my request for no rolls. If I'm gonna indulge in a guilty pleasure, would like some actual pleasure. A reminder that unhealthy food is just not worth it.
I recently ordered $60 worth of food, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The chicken fingers were mostly batter with very little chicken, and the hot wings were excessively salty.
