Please try the steak tips and the ricotta pancakes. This is the best brunch restaurant in Boston and I don’t know how they don’t have a huge waitlist every day. The food is delicious and the service was great. The food is also very reasonably pricedcompared to the extremely nice interior. I went to lunch with a friend who is recovering from surgery and is using a walker. Even though it's not possible to pull a car up close to the entrance, the staff were extremely kind and accommodating throughout our time there. The menu is interesting, offers great choices, and is reasonably priced. There were not many people eating there at lunch time on a Monday right after New Year, so hard to speak to the noise level, but the place is large and airy and bright. What is most memorable is the warm, friendly and very helpful staff.
I brought by 2 friends for a quiet and excellent lunch. We were not disappointed! Our server was fantastic and he was so patient with us as we were engaged in conversation and took us a while to order. He understood the allergy needs of one of my friends and really tried to help with this. The food was amazing as well as the entire experience. We all loved it and felt very comfortable and stayed for 4-hours!! We so appreciated this.

this is our 4th visit. while the huevos rancheros are solid, and the atmosphere is pretty, the service is terrible. it is very clear that the young waiters are badly trained, and a manager for adult is either absent or sleep. beyond a good cook and an attractive environment, this restaurant lacks a modicum of professionalism. also the cappuccino is unimaginable and the regular coffee is bland. a simple coffee machine is in order.
Great ambiance, lovely food, exemplary service. The lobster Roll was divine. Calamari brilliantly crisp that it just cracks in the mouth Rail Stop Burger just melts in the mouth, Ceaser salad rich and filling , the Beer- allagash white soft and smooth ,lunch was a wholesome experience. Now why only 4 stars? I am sure they can make it even more heavenly
Excellent food. Atmosphere and service are great, all of the wait staff are very friendly. I had the fried pickles, margherita pizza (pictures), and an ice tea, which were all great. Service was quick compared to other restaurants of its type. Pizza wasfantastic; perfectly cooked with bold flavors and a perfect balance. Highly recommend.
I truly love this place! The service is outstanding, and the drinks are excellent. While it can be somewhat expensive, it's definitely an enjoyable experience!

overall very good. our salads were forgotten. the food was good. the risotto was overwhelmed with huge wobbles. the waiter was attentive.
the railstop is a very nice restaurant and a bar. good atmosphere and good eating. I will definitely go back.
