Appalling. Went here a few months back and was really lovely, especially the woman who had served my partner and I. Went back this evening expecting the same great service and received the complete opposite. The male waiter was rude to us from the get go as we didn’t know whether we wanted to sit in and he told us ‘this is a restaurant’ and was funny with us both ordering a tap water after they didn’t have the drink I would’ve liked and had last time. I moved to Stanford-Le-Hope a little over a year ago and visited Gino’s not to long after. What can I say but WOW! They never disappoint, the food is always next level and so fresh! They are always adding specials depending on the fresh fish or steaks they have acquired that day. I am in love with the way they cook their scallops, they are honestly the best I’ve ever had and always have them as a starter every time I visit. I absolutely adore Gino’s Taverna! This local restaurant is outstanding and beats out any other dining spot in the area. The service is top-notch, the food is mouthwatering, and the atmosphere is inviting. My family and I discovered Gino’s when we moved to Stanford-Le-Hope 18 months ago, and we have been regular customers ever since. Chef Dave is incredibly talented, and hosts George and Bernie are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Gino’s Taverna to everyone, whether you’re a local or just passing through. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked!
Extremely poor service from start to finish The waiter was extremely rude and unprofessional. Was served the wrong dish, with what was served having undercooked pasta. When we mentioned this the waiter told us it wasn't undercooked and was cooked 10minutes before even being bought out. Waiter then tried refusing to allow us to use our taste card, and was being continuely rude, as well as muttering things under his breath. Can understand now why the restaurant is always empty. Have never eaten before, have only had deliveries which has always been delicious. Came here on a Monday night and the service and food was amazing. I had scallops which were the best I have had in a long time. Main was the ragu which was delicious. The beef chunks were melt in the mouth and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Dessert was panna cotta which was so light and just the right consistency. Would have taken more pics but I ate it all too quickly! Fabulous experience and will definitely be returning .
I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and enjoyed the delicious calamari, king prawn linguine, and pineapple Malibu pannacotta. My partner ordered the garlic chilli prawns and also found them to be very tasty. The staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend this place to others. We will be returning in the future. The only downside for me was that the table mats were a bit itchy, but that's just me being picky. Overall, a great experience.
We decided to try Ginos for the first time, wanting to see what it was like. Our drinks arrived quickly, but there was a long wait for the food to be ordered. However, we were given a free drink to make up for the wait. The food took a while to come out, but when it did, it was delicious. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. Overall, it is a nice place with good food, they just need to work on getting it out faster.
Food was lovely. George who was serving was a class act, very attentive. No pressure to be finished. Good selection of food. We would highly recommend Ginos’s for a pleasant relaxed meal.

Great king prawn linguini. Visited for Father's day service was quick and the place was busy. Food was tasty and plenty of it.
