Update 5/20/22 Went today and am happy to say, rude girl is gone! Hope she doesn 't come back this summer. The young lady at the counter greeted me, nade eye contact and smiled. Manager/owner always a pleasant woman. I felt really bad about leavingthe prior review, but was just so shocked by the attitude of girl at counter. The counter at Ralphs Italian Ice is staffed by inexperienced girls who spend more time chatting and goofing off than actually working, even when there's a long line. I tried the soft nap, but it was completely flavorless. The next day, my entire family woke up at 6 AM with stomach pains, and I ended up vomiting. The service was poor, the ice was bad, and overall it was a terrible experience. The menu lacked appealing options, and I definitely recommend Ralphs at Massapequa Park instead.
It?s a Friday night in may, only two girls are working and they have absolutely zero sense of urgency as a line begins to form consisting of 6 people. They?re chatting as haute working and are taking their sweet time. After 15 minutes waiting behind threecustomers, there?s no key lime pie. Fine. I ask for lime and cola. She makes it and puts the cola in then tells me she?s sorrybut there?s no lime I waited 15 minutes for absolutely nothing. Poor Customer services and product knowledge.

A bunch of inexperienced girls running the counter, too busy chatting and goofing off then actually taking orders when there is a long line. Got soft serve and it tasted flavorless, next day me and my whole family of 6 woke up with stomach aches. Myselfvomiting. Poor service, poor ice cream. Overall terrible experience. Ralphs in Massapequa park is way better.
The ice cream was excellent! I tried two scoops—one cotton candy and the other black cherry. They made a fantastic combination. I also loved the retro serving style. You order at the counter and enjoy your ice cream on a spacious bench outside, which is perfect for people-watching. If only I had another stomach, I would have liked to sample even more flavors!
Love this place. We always try to stop in when we visit family on the island. Would have given it 5 stars, but they didn't have the flavor that I painstakingly waited 6 months for. You let me down Ralph. My puppy enjoyed his treat though. We'll def beback.

I love this place. We always try to stop when we visit the family on the island. Had there been 5 stars, but they didn't have the taste I waited for for six months. You let me down Ralph. My puppy enjoyed his treats. We'll come back.
