I visited Rama's for the first time last week after having heard a great deal about it. Expectations were sky high and it was delivered with finesse complete with the joy of Mango Kulfi. we have been feeding in ramas for many years and ordered the house delivery, but after another disappointing food delivery last night we will not do it again. in the course of the years the rice was often so tender and inconspicuous so that we prepare our own. we have delivered food that was not what we ordered, and it is often delivered late and cold. last night we ordered wobble bhaji and received something else in balls with spinach that were underboiled and cold. we also ordered chicken corma and got a lamb dish that we could not identify. the worst part, however, was that the raita was in the series that I discovered only after I had laid it over my curry. seriously, they sent old, almo...
We have been coming here for years and have never ever been disappointed. It doesn't matter if it is just as a couple or in a large group, the food and service is fantastic. This occassion was a small group of 7 and we ate...so much. The hostess is amazing and always so cheerful. No wonder the place is always full of people. We had the mixed entrees as well as extra pakoras. Mains included Dhal, beef vindaloo, lamb madras,chicken korma, vegetable korma and a madras fish curry. All wonderful. The service is very good, efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is alive and fun and on a warm night, it is lovely to sit out side and enjoy the meal.
A group of us visited Ramas for a banquet dinner. From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome. The food was delicious. My favourites were the roti parcels and the beef vindaloo. In my mind, what sets this restaurant apart from many other...very good restaurants is the service friendly and welcoming, with check-in’s timed appropriately during natural lulls in conversation. I felt like anything we wanted would not be too much trouble. When a restaurant makes you feel so welcome, that’s a special thing.

Ramas has switched to takeaway only during the current crisis, but the food is still as good as ever. The portions are generous and the menu is sufficiently diverse without being too extensive. The prices are very good for the quality of the product. The...process of ordering and pickup works very smoothly. Free home delivery is available for proximate suburbs.
Prior to getting my tonsils out I joked to my partner about what I felt like for my final meal. I said Indian and he suggested Ramas. Well it didn't disappoint as a final meal. Food was excellent. Every morsel was a delicious indulgence. I'm...still healing and can't wait to be able to chew and swallow again. Think my first meal out will have to be here.
we came to dinner loved the place the hostess and the staff are so friendly that we felt in house Fiji style. were delicious and generous in serving. platz was full. it is located in the tombs of canberra, but good worth venting. we'll eat here again, next time in canberra.
Bought a beef dish and a lamb dish to take home. The beef dish had large chunks of meat which was stringy and tough. The chicken dish was tender but also had big pieces. The sauce for both dishes tasted exactly the same ! Threw...most of it into the garbage bin.

family life authentic eating. very friendly service and the cook has taken up our nutritional needs very easily and was very attentive to our needs.
somewhat disappointing as I was looking forward to fiji indian curry, but this court I had bought was more like punjabi indian (india curry).
