Jimmy Thai is, by far, my favorite Thai restaurant! The food is great, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff are some of the nicest people! Jimmy, himself, is there a fair amount, and he is always the friendliest guy! The must order is the pad see ew which is always my favorite Thai dish, but theirs is the best I have ever had! Also you have to get a curry and pad woon sen! I have been going for years and after a bad experience with another Thai restaurant, we have made this our only Thai restaurant and have not been disappointed yet! Pictured are the pad see ew, pad woon sen, and the cashew chicken, which are all excellent choices!
We were in the area for a basketball tournament and wanted something quick, tasty, and not a typical fast-food experience. What we found was a delicious meal and outstanding service at a fantastic price. We even received a complimentary appetizer after we placed our order. The owner was incredibly friendly and chatted with my son about basketball. It's a great spot for a fast and delicious meal!
A lovely locally owned restaurant. Visited Chicago and stopped by here as it is close to the hotel. Heartwarming to see the owner Jimmy and his staff are so friendly to every customer and chatted with their local customers&friends. We ordered sweet chili chicken wings green curry and khan soy coconut noodles. Dishes are exceptionally delicious and authentic.
It was so delicious that we wanted to have it again the next night! We both enjoyed the chicken broth with tender chicken pieces. I added mushrooms, and my husband opted for extra vegetables. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced! The owner is incredibly kind. I walked about half a mile from my hotel to the restaurant, and the owner insisted on giving me a ride back! I know exactly where I'll be going every time I'm in this area for work!
The food was good and the welcome that we received walking in the door was great. Jimmy is one very cordial guy. Thanks Jimmy and crew for a good lunch on the first day of our brief trip to the Chicago area!
What a lovely lunch spot w great food. Good lunch menu with option to order from full menu. Liked the bottled waters they gave per person, very Covid cautious w staff wearing masks, too.
