The ice cream at Rancatore's is absolutely delicious! In the hot month of August, you definitely need to indulge in some ice cream, and this place has a great selection. We tried the sundae with hot fudge, cookies, salted caramel, mocha ice cream, and chocolate chips - it was a truly delicious experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient. Keep in mind that there is no indoor seating and the place is not wheelchair accessible.
After a bike ride, my friends and I decided to stop for a refreshing treat. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I was the only one wearing a mask, so I took photos of the daily menu to share with my friends outside before placing our orders. The outdoor seating on the sidewalk consisted of standing tables, which were ideal for enjoying our ice cream.
Great place to grab ice cream and sorbet cones, pints, cakes, affrogatos, etc. Nice flavors that rotate and trained teenage staff. If you have allergies, they are careful and can accommodate with fresh scoopers/tubs. Recently, I've begun to get birthday cakes here because: 1. kids love ice cream and 2. they are good about allergens. I usually order by phone. Street parking or in the lot off Waltham Ave.
We are thrilled that we discovered Ranc's! As a vegan family, we were delighted by their delicious vegan coconut cream and mango ice cream (yes, actual ice cream, not just sorbet). We had yogurt chocolate mousse ice cream with hot fudge here and it was a little chewy not too sweet. We preferred the chocolate ice cream across the street which was creamier and more delicious but much smaller in size! There is a big area for seating here and they offer a lot of milkshakes and other stuff. Nice place to visit.
The restaurant offers a great variety of flavors and their banana split is a must-try! They frequently rotate their flavors, often featuring spicy options. I recently tried the Mexican chocolate chip and it was delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
The best ice cream in the area, without a doubt. It has always been the best and always will be. A must-visit in downtown Lexington.
