Jason was our server and he was superb. However, the server assistance was non existent. We were never offered refills of water or bread and the dishes stacked up on the end of the table (a very small table for two) until the manager came and removed them. And he came by because I needed to inform someone that my husbands steak was grossly over cooked. He fixed that but the crab he also ordered was cold. He would not let me return it because he was aggravated and hungry. It was our anniversary and we always choose Maloneâs for our celebration because the food and service are usually exemplary. I've probably reviewed Malone's 10 times. The food and price has been pretty much unchanged as long as I've gone, though I must say my tolerance for traditional fried foods (the shrimp this time) dressed up in the menu as foodie stuff is a little wearisome. This time the service was not good. We were attended to quickly, received the bread and initial drink orders quickly, and the food also came out pretty fast. Then our needs were pretty much abandoned. Some needs took several queries, and the last drink order failed to make the trip after 20 minutes we just cancelled it. we're eating here a lot and we always have a 5-star rating over the board. the lunch yesterday was incredibly slow. our server had to apologize twice while waiting for my Pan-Roasted white fish (black) with a side spade and the fried fish sandwich my mate with fritten. we've been over the kitchen to fish for our fish. we were happy with our meals. I am looking forward to our next visit in two weeks and the white fish blurred.
My best friend and I went there to celebrate my birthday. The staffs were really nice and accommodating. The food was great as usual. We had the steaks with the bottomless lexingtonian salad and mushrooms on the side and the world’s greatest or American dessert. They were all great! Our server, Max was very on top of things. Incredible!! We treated our kids to a special dinner because of their great grades. We all were so impressed with the quality of our food. We almost ate every bite, just took a small box home with leftovers. Was delicious and our service was incredible. Our server was so nice helpful.
Food was great. Service was okâ¦had to wait to ask for additional items or refill as our waitress was not super attentive when we needed her but everything else was great!
