Shocked that I didnt 5 star them when I first tried a few months ago. Tandoori Chicken is great, mildly spiced and not boring, made a good road trip lunch. Calamari Pakoras were unusual and very satisfying. Kabuli Naan was also good a bit decadent, sweet flatbread as was the Nimbo Pani, which was lemonade plus a bit of proprietary flavouring. Big kudos for Chicken Salad, which is a nice fresh greens salad with a packet of tandoori chicken bites you mix in to keep from getting bored. I loved it all, can heartily recommend and will return myself.
Lamb Vindaloowas full of potatoes with little lamb. Very disappointing, but the flavor was good. The Garlic Basil Naan was under cooked. Tasted too doughy. The Chicken Tikka Masala sauce was broken and very oily. We ordered towards closing so probably got whatever was left over from the night.
Der gestrige Sonntagsbrunch war wunderbar. Das Steak und die Eier waren großartig, serviert mit Kartoffeln und Vollkornbrot. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Tische im Garten waren ein großartiger Ort für Gespräche inmitten von viel Grün.
I have a passion for Indian food; Saag Paneer and rice of all kinds in particular. This place does it great. They also have a nice atmosphere at the bar for dining in and are located in the downtown fashionable area of Burlingame, CA.
