Rasooi the Traditional Kitchen

Dined here for the first time this week. Always keen to try a new restaurant. I must say Rasooi is setting a new standard for Indian dining in Adelaide. A warm welcome, superb service throughout the evening, and some of the best curries we have had in years. Highly recommended, Rasooi has a fantastic menu and a good drinks choice. Great to see the chef visiting each table throughout the evening as well, clearly he cares about the meals coming out of the kitchen. We will be back soon, to sample more of the menu. Well done to all at Rasooi, you have raised the bar, and others could learn a lot from the complete di ing experience you offer.

Gem of a place. You would hardly know it from outside, opposite a supermarket carpark, but when you go in it’s like entering Aladdin’s Cave. Great atmosphere. A welcome note was on our table marking our family occasion a nice touch. Very friendly staff, lovely food aromatic, not too hot, not oily. Butter chicken was the best I’ve had in a long time. Lamb curry, vegetables, rice and naan were excellent. Very tidy establishment with clean bathrooms. A little pricier than other Indian restaurants nearby, but Rasooi makes a real effort and we felt made a special night.

Today I stumbled upon Rasooi while looking for lunch and it turned out to be my new favorite Indian restaurant in Adelaide. The food was amazing with an authentic Indian taste, generous portions, reasonable prices, and high quality. I highly recommend it, thank you Vikas ji!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a tiny Indian restaurant nestled inside an arcade off Prospect Road. They offer generous portions of delicious Indian cuisine at an affordable price. I particularly enjoyed their flavorful dhal and chicken masala dishes.
