Ok the food isn't exactly mind-blowing, it's good but German food in general isn't... However, the beer selection and above all the service. The prettiest girls in town were hired, I don't know what to say, im speechless, but make sure you leave your wife at home, just kidding try the Currywurst and try to control yours if you want great beer from the country that knows best, this is the place not just bottled also fresh tap selection wonderful Service: Dine in
My wife and I are quite familiar with the Rathskellar having dined there many times since it opened. This was the first time we have been there for lunch. Took my sister and nephew and as newbies they thoroughly enjoyed their chicken cordon bleu. We enjoyed the always excellent food and the service was exactly right. Never a disappointment at the Rathskellar!
A bit too expensive for the food quality. The men's bathroom door was broken, looked like it had been for a while. A few screws should fix it so spend the time to keep your place in working order. Bathroom was extremely dirty, same with the tavern. We ate at 5 pm so it wasn't like it was the end of the night. We have tried twice, I think we will move on.
The food was not authentic german. The potatoes in the german potato salad were not cooked enough and did not have the flavor of classic german salad. The sauerkraut was flavorless. Food was outstanding! Service was a little slow but they were very busy so thats to be expected. We were seated upstairs which was a little weird. No decorations and a bit awkward. Overall, will definitely go back because the food is worth it.
