I was in line waiting to place my order when I overheard the owner tell an Uber driver that he would have to wait until all the customers in line were served because Uber won't pay him until next week. I couldn't believe it. It made me realize why my delivery orders often arrive so late. Customers and delivery drivers should be treated equally. These drivers are only making $2 per order, and this one had to wait 30 minutes before his order was even started. It really shed light on the challenges these drivers face. I won’t be returning, and neither will my friends or coworkers.
I ordered the rice and beans dish, which included white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains maduros. However, I was disappointed to discover that the plantains were actually tostones, which I did not enjoy. I attempted to contact the restaurant by phone but received no response after leaving a message. The beef empanada was also not as good as it used to be. Overall, I was extremely upset with my dining experience.
This is my second time ordering from here. The Raul's Meat Lovers platter advertised pork belly, but both times it was missing. It seems like the menu may have been changed and not updated. The Joe Nailero Mason was greasy. The flavors of Paradise and Third Heaven were very similar and just okay. My first experience ordering was better. Overall, it's a good option for late-night cravings.
The empanadas smelled incredible, and the aroma of the fried dough was so enticing that I couldn’t resist eating one in the car! It was fresh, warm, and crispy, and the chipotle sauce paired perfectly with it. I may not remember how it used to taste, but I can confidently say that this was really delicious! We will definitely return to order empanadas to go the next time we’re in town!

This is my second time orderingfrkm here. The Raul's meat lovers platter states it has pork belly and both times it wasnt in there. Might had been changed abs not updated. Joe nalero Mason was covered in oil. Paradise and Third Heaven taste exactly the same and were decent. My first time order was a better experience. Good for like late night cravings.

I understand now. The restaurant is called Raul's Empanadas for a reason. The empanadas are amazing, easily deserving of 5 stars. The fries were okay, but the quesadilla was nearly inedible. Stick to the empanadas and you won't be disappointed.

Delicious and tasty! Satisfied my craving! The perfect comfort food. Great corasnal or whole meal. Cant wait to try more types. I had the Rock and First Heaven. Both great choices but loved the Rock a little more.
