Classic Forty?s Diner/ French bistro Vibes immediately come to mind from the black and white honeycomb tiled floors, marble top bistro tables, red leather banquettes, Art Deco light fixtures, grand windows and tin ceilings. The food here was good. The drink was a bit tasteless but still warmed my soul. The service was both great and average. The host was very kind. The server was also kind, but there were some things that I personally didn't like. The tables that I saw all had silverware, a small plate, and glasses for water. There were only the small plates. Since it was my first time there, I just let things take its course since I may not know how things worked. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer to share. We came here during early lunch. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and the Fish n Chips entrées. Baja Fish Tacos very juicy and not dry, everything was breaking apart quickly. My spice tolerance isn 't good and I don 't like how it wasn 't listed on the menu with a red chili pepper sign. If a food item is going to have red pepper flakes all over the tacos, at least give a warning to customers who don 't like spice. Meal was good up until my last bite which had pork in it. I’m Muslim I don’t eat pork, so I ordered a dish that was 100% meatless (huevos rancheros) and it had pork in the last bite. I didn’t make a fuss and I just kindly asked them to comp that one meal, but they said they could only comp 70%….. Super rude of them. I asked once more and they finally did comp it. But extremely gross and distasteful to bite into a big chunk of pork at my very last bite. I shouldn’t have to worry about this when I go out to eat. Wouldn’t come back!

Went for Father's Day! Very slow service, but it's to be expected because of the volume of people going out to eat! Our waiter Sergio was really nice. We enjoyed the food, french toast, pancakes, and eggs benedict with salmon. The oat milk latte and regular latte were very tasty. Suggest for a nice al fresco breakfast!
We went for a Sunday brunch. You have to be there before 11 else it gets very crowded and wait time to be seated can be an hour. Service and food is good , as to be expected from any good joints in ridgewood. It does not disappoint ever. I absolutely love the Avocado toast , grilled cheese and waffles here !
The grilled cheese sandwich I ate was not only the best *drilled cheese* sandwich I had ever eaten, but perhaps the best *sandwich* I've ever eaten. I went back yesterday and ordered the garden salad and it was absolutely delicious.
Chicken sandwich was missing ingredients and included pickles. Turkey club was nearly impossible to eat. 2 halves about 2 inches wide and nearly 5 inches high.....doesn't work. Very disappointing for the amount of money.
