"Their biscuits were over-the-top fantastic. I ordered the Crab Fettuccini, and my companion ordered Baked Flounder. Everything was okay. I would have loved a spoon and some extra parmesan. They've cut their menu a lot. Though the meal wasn't terribly bad--the Red Lobster is not the same restaurant. The meals and service used to be dependable."

I have not been to a Red Lobster in about 20 years. My Mom had a coupon and so we went for lunch. To my surprise not too bad. The place is still dark wood and older decor. They should brighten it up and modernize the look really. It's about time. They have a lunch menu which is pretty good looking and you can order from the regular menu too. They have a $15 all you can eat shrimp on Mondays. But that's too much food. But a deal none-the-less. This was the most dumbfounding experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I went in with my handicapped mother, who needs a table because of her handicap, not a booth. Requested said table and the hostess leads us to a booth. Asked if we could have the empty table 6 inches away (or one of the three other free tables in that section) and she said there was no server for that table and we would have to have the booth. There was a family at the table next to the empty one so I am not sure first of all how there would be no server for that section nor how the server for the booth that was almost touching the table could not just turn around? Back in 1990 this place was the way to impress your date for dinner before Prom or homecoming. But now that The restaurant scene has literally blown up in CLE unfortunately this place has just been outdated. In fact there is not much I can see that Red Lobster has done to try to reinvent themselves however their cheesy garlic biscuits are already a force to be reckoned with. Probably the worst Red Lobster experience I ever had especially with delivery. Everything was skimpy and they never gave me my Clam Chowder. I do not understand, the cluster wasn't even a full cluster it was missing one leg, the salad was old and the croutons was stale and the food was just overall awful. I would never ever order from here again, nor would I eat in again. For an area of such high caliber, it was a big disappointment to see this happen. Very bad job.
