Red isn't quite the same that it used to be. The place itself is really nice and the bar area is also great. Their cocktail menu and bartender were also very good. While the place, people, and service were very good, while the menu has plenty to choose from, the food was just.......decent to good. It's not the Red of the past which always turned-out excellent dishes. I had Chicken Scarpariello which was two whole chicken thighs covered in sauteed peppers and onions with tiny pieces of sausage served with mashed potatoes. That is not Chicken Scarpariello! My wife had the ravioli which was decent but no great shakes. Not a lot of flavor. Again, just not what we've been used to from Red in all...
Had dinner with a friend here because it's always on point, the garden area in back is so nice, and perfect for dining on a warm Fall evening. Service is top notch, attentive but not intrusive and food fantastic. Dessert?? Flourless chocolate cake is divine with creme anglaise and raspberry sauce..thanks Red, another delightful dinner after a long day...see you soon
Sat outside for lunch in the secret garden and was served by a very attentive server. The food was expertly prepared we did not feel rushed and when the check came it was reasonable. Definitely liked that there was a parking lot at the back of the restaurant as it can be rough to park in Huntington
A gem in Huntington. We have been coming here for years with our family and friends and the food is well prepared and absolutely delicious! Chef Nino brings wonderful inspiration from Sardinia. The outdoor patio is our favorite place to eat in summertime!

Terrific experience at Red last night. Friendly welcome by staff, delicious cocktails at the bar, and wonderful food on a pretty patio all added up to a great evening. I can't wait to return.

The chicken scarpiello was phenomenal. The garden is the loveliest space in Huntington by far. Chatting with Nino makes you feel like you’re on vacation in Italy!
