I purchased lunch at Red Rice for my boyfriend and I today. I had the grilled salmon with candied yams and the garlic string beans. My entire dish was so flavorful without tasting too salty. The garlic string beans pleasantly surprised me with how much I liked them and the glaze used on the grilled salmon is just right! My boyfriend had the smoked turkey wing, mac n cheese, and collard greens. He also enjoyed everything that came with his meal. And we finished it off with the beloved Jus Pudding banana pudding! Let me just say this: when it comes to food, I usually only eat what I cook at home, or the meals prepared by my mother and aunts. I really don’t eat out at all. Me and my boyfriend are from out of town and wanted to try some soul food. We looked up the best reviewed one in our area in this one came up. It did not disappoint! I had the fried fish green beans and the mac and cheese. It was simply heavenly. My boyfriend got the jerk chicken, collar greens, and green beans. His was equally fantastic. Got the turkey wing plate EXTRA SMOTHERED with greens and Mac and a fish plate with yams and greens let me tell you something….SHOUTOUT TO RED RICE in zone 6!!!!! Owner was friendly and welcoming I will be coming back every time I’m in East Atlanta!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. Perfectly prepared. It was my wife and I first time visiting Red Rice, so we wasn't really sure what to expect. We were definitely pleasantly surprised. The strawberry banana pudding is a must try.
