I came to Red Robin tonight with my two children just to relax a bit, and not have to cook dinner. Our waiter Aaron was absolutely great, and even remembered each of our names throughout dinner. How he did that is beyond me! I can barely get my kids names right after a long day, and I named them! It was pretty busy while we were there, so at a point Aaron wasn’t able to make it to our table for a while to check on us. (We were good, had drinks, and fries to keep us happy) when he made it back around to us he apologized as if he had forgotten us completely! Very disappointing. The Ensenada Chicken plate was hard and dry. The server only took, I wanted salad (was asked what I wanted with it if you can get any subpage. When I asked why she accepted salad, she just laughed. Very unprofessional. The salad is blazed. Run the bagged salad with three beet and some cheese sprinkled. We were told that they were all made of clean metal cutlery, so they served our food with bagged plastic utensils!!!! Unbelievable! They cost 10 minutes to round two forks! I was at this point in almost every Red Robin between Vancouver and Salem and this is one of two Red Robin restaurants that make still delicious food and offer a great service. As a franchise, RR has hit rock soils in recent years. It was sad to see that my childhood favorite restaurant chain is in prison quality and service. However, there are some owners out there who obviously still care about customer retention and this is one of them. Food came out fast and on top of that it was all delicious. Fried pickle chips are to die for and the chicken sandwich I got was fried to perfection as well as super juicy. One of my kids just wanted fries and fruit and since those things are both bottomless they cut us a great deal on them. Staff there was outstanding. Our waiter was even training someone and never missed a beat but still took the time to train her as he went. I've been to a couple of Robin locations that are not nearly as well staffed or as efficient. This is the one you want to go to if you want the Red Robin experience that the commercials are talking about.
Meal quality was excellent. I was charged for three orders, but I ordered four. I first tried the AI order over phone but it didn't recognize one of the menu items. Everything else AI accomplished amazingly well, very accurately, even adjustments I had to make. However, because of that 4th menu item, I had to talk to someone. Unfortunately, this same menu item was dropped from my order even after I confirmed with the live person over the phone that it was available. It turns out AI was correct after all, I would have appreciated if they told me that instead of omitting it Food excellent! Available menu and ordering good.
Do you love a good burger? Are you trying to reduce your footprint on our planet by eating less meat? You have 2 choices here, either the impossible burger or just a veggie patty with beans, squirrels, etc. We've come to Red Robin for a few years and love her banzai burger. The place was clean and welcoming. They sat immediately and our server, Amber was super nice and helpful. I had a voucher and no one gave me trouble with him or made any faces like in other places. We will continue to return for their fantastic burgers and groundless sides and drinks.
Try to order online. Had a purchase got a half of voucher. Online page never accepts their vouchers. Phone order. Two Cobb salads. Needs to pay and use coupon, and they said that salads do not count as a duck. Since when? A lot earlier. The picture of the voucher even has a salad on it! So false advertising? Felt like a bait and switch. I don't think we're back here. It's always an order disaster. You didn't do anything to fix the problem. Just Shrug and said it didn't work. A star service. Two stars because the food was good.
Don't sit in the bar area if you actually want any kind of service. Ordered a bottomless tea drink from menu and it didn't come until after the food and then getting a refill was like pulling teeth. They were out of my 1st choices on the menu for 3 things. Told I also couldn't get a milkshake because the overbearing bartender couldn't figure out how to operate the shake machine. All other wait staff was phenomenal though which made up for it.
