Have been here many times, due to receiving medical treatment up the road. It has actually been the highlight of my family visits while I'm hospitalised. The staff here are fantastic, yes some are a bit shy, but, they are young kids so good on them for having a go. I have had the fish and chips here and they are awesome. But the highlight of this place is the burgers. They are out of this world, their new gourmet selection is just fantastic. I had the crispy pork belly burger, so big I couldn't believe it was only 16 bucks and my mum had the Swiss cheese mushroom and bacon burger and it was so big she couldn't finish it, ok I may of helped her. Great food and Service. I live locally and Love the food at Smilers Buddina Cafe. I have been there for Sunday breakfast numerous times with my partner and as a member of a large group, and also for weekend lunches. The food has been plentiful, well cooked and presented, the coffee brewed to my specifications, and I found the staff friendly and efficient, with our meals arriving in a surprisingly short time period. I rate this cafe highly,and love the view of the boats and canal while eating on the back deck.
I went here with family and friends last Saturday I had a piece of snapper and Chips it was yum however my fish was the tiniest piece ever my chips were nice my friend had flake and chips. Flake just is not the same as it used to be instead of being a flaky white it was dark brown in color and so small it did taste nice though I have eaten here before and would like to see the meals slightly larger especially for the price you pay the atmosphere was nice as to the fit out homely. Service was friendly!
Stepped through the door of your cafe on a very busy Anzac Day and was surprised that I could order a fish burger my way with options. Always wary of gf bread and rolls, i went ahead and was really surprised with the burger when I unwrapped it. How could a bread roll look and taste so well if it was gf, but threw caution to the wind and ate it with such enjoyment my husband was amazed. Thumbs up to you and your cafe and your gf menu, I will be back.

I reckon you can always tell a good fish and chip shop by the number of people either eating in or waiting for takeaway. Looking for a quick meal we ordered a few pieces of fish, chips and some calamari. The local fresh fish was way too expensive so we opted for frozen hoki instead however it was still delicious. The chips and calamari were sensational.

This has become our go-to for fish and chips (or a burger). It's also a fav for brekky and coffee.It's a local restaurant run by consistently friendly, and conscientious people. When weighed against any of my previous reviews, this restaurant is right near the top.
Regretted not eating out for breakfast the day before, as the place on the corner was closed on Monday and their coffees and service were lots better. Food was ok. For price, might have expected table service.

Had a takeaway breakfast roll and coffee. No complaints at all. Plenty of competition about but would return.
