following a good morning of skiing, we decided to stop for lunch in this altitude chalet, which we had heard the praises the day before on TV. What was not our disappointment when we arrived in this place that we thought "hot."When we arrived, none of the 4 servers dealing with the terrace spoke to us, not even a hint (2 people standing in the middle of the terrace, it notices no?), after 5 minutes we decide to approach the entrance of the restaurant in order to be better spotable, the servers continue to compute us before us a couple attacked near us in vain try to recommend drinks and get satisfaction at the end of 3 requests to 3 different servers!Break, after 10 min I decide to interpell...
We attended this establishment as hikers as part of a tmb variant (half board). We particularly enjoyed the setting (the sumptuous panorama on the Mont Blanc massif, red hands but also aravis). very pleasant and very well exposed terrace. The welcome by the boss was very warm, and we especially enjoyed all her little attention. We were the only 2 guests to spend the night at the cottage and we were cauliised.Very good home-made meal, copious.Sanitary refurbished (showers with hot water and wc). top after a day rando!2 dormitories (14 seats in all). cleanliness: shaving. quality bedding: RAS.Deco vintage dorms, but we love it. Too bad! Yes in front of such a beautiful spectacle as nature offers us 360°. It is not even more than 2000m the level of the place and at the lowest, welcome, service, consumption and I did not take the risk of tasting a dish prepared on site, to see the two big dogs that go and come in the kitchen. Surpass the place and magical. A little respect for people who are not savoyards. the tourists it melts you live and the competition of the stations is fierce! a single polite word of order kindness and quality this is the minimum that we owe to the customer even if they are passing!
A cool day of the month of October: you walk up from the plateau of the cross to reach the foot of Mont-Joly. very nice interior with a beautiful torch in the fireplace to warm the atmosphere. the menu of the day: input plate , burgundy polenta and vegetables, pie and genepi: one is for fault. Thank you ladies for your welcome and for this good meal: we will spend the winter season. It's all right.

the view is beautiful ok, but especially don't go to this restaurant, it has lots of other chalets that offer beautiful views! expensive dishes, a perished coca for 6 months has been served and cherry on the food poisoning cake due to their croziflette, in bed for 24 hours. especially to avoid!!!
Great! It was my first refuge experience and I don't regret coming. Dorms are clean and silk sheets are provided. The shower is also clean and spacious. On meals, it was very good! What is most important to remember is a good reception and friendliness. Thank you, we'll be back.
you can't climb up on the evasion domain...a nice little place to avoid the usual megeve crowd, if you want to make more than once the Mont joly c is a nice spot
