We decided to grab some ice cream quickly after dinner since the restaurant had great reviews and was conveniently nearby. The lines were a bit long, but the service was efficient and fast. The portions were huge and there were many options on the menu. The prices were reasonable considering the large sizes of the servings. We didn't have time to try the snack part of the restaurant, but it looked just as busy. The parking lot was big and had plenty of space.
The best ice cream I've ever had. This place is always humming with customers so service can take a bit of time, but that's to be expected of a restaurant that's not in a huge metropolis. It's country time. Besides the ice cream, the poutine is seriously awesome since it uses special cheese curds from a local cheese factory. It also helps that they're not too stingy with said cheese. If you're in Riviere-du-Loup, you owe it to yourself to stop by for a cone.
We stopped at Regal Glacé after leaving the ferry today to get soft ice cream and are we glad we did!!!! The soft ice cream was the best and creamiest tasting we have ever enjoyed. The service was prompt and friendly. He even gave us directions on how to get to the route for our next destination.If you are getting on or off the ferry to St. Simeon, do yourself a big favor and stop here for soft ice cream. You will be happy you did!
I have been visiting this restaurant every summer since I was a child. The ice cream they serve is classic Quebec soft serve from a dairy bar, and in my opinion, it is the best! Their poutines are also delicious, with rich gravy, plenty of cheese, and perfect soft fries. The staff is also fantastic; I will definitely be returning every year! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The ice cream, especially the maple flavor, was delicious. The employees were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean, and they even have a small children's park with a slide. I will definitely be back to try their poutine next time.
On a essayé la crème glacée molle à la framboise et une au banane. C'était la première fois qu'on goutait à ça. C'est bon et original. On a marché jusque sur le bord de l'eau avec nos cornets ce qui les rendait encore meilleurs! Prix raisonable et bon service!
We ate ice cream and milkshake there, the service was good and pricing is good. The place in small from inside and line could form up quickly. Else than ice cream you will find the typical shack cuisine : hamburger, hot dog, fries.
