We were enjoying a 16 day trip in France in May of 2013 and one of the places we ate at was CHEZ COTTON in the French mountains above Monaco. We were with Grand European Tours and had the restaurant to ourselves. The view was fantastic, the food and wine were fantastic and the owner and staff made us feel like we were family. We spent hours eating, drinking, talking among ourselves and the staff and enjoying ourselves until the sun went down. It was glorious!
This time was for a birthday party for a girlfriend, 40 guests all out. Great night, excellent food, excellent service, made for a wonderful evening. Also have been to this resto several times before since many many years. Always good value. Can really recommend. If you want to get away from the coast and into the back country, go here.
Drive into the mountains to this restaurant with magnificent scenery. With lamb roasting a spit over the fire, we drank wine before enjoying a lovely meal and watching the sun go down over the mountains and the sky light up. I really do recommend this experience.
