Als ich im September 2016 vorhatte, an einem schönen sonnigen Morgen ein schönes heißes Schokoladengetränk zu trinken, setzte ich mich hin, um alles zu genießen. Ein mürrischer Mann kam und fragte, ob ich alleine sei oder ob ich erwarte, dass andere sich mir anschließen. Ich hatte niemanden erwartet, also gab ich diese Antwort. Er sagte mir, dass ich in diesem Fall an einen Tisch in der Nähe des Gebäudes umziehen müsse. Ich fragte ihn warum und die Antwort war, dass die Tische am Geländer der Terrasse nur für Gruppen da seien. Bitte beachten Sie, dass außer mir nur 2 Tische besetzt waren. This place gets better. We were just too early to enjoy the Wild season when we could enjoy some nice venison like last year. However, the meat supplied for the fondue was simply excellent and plentiful. The view all the way to the south was spectacular and the smell of the wood burning stove added to the enjoyment. Service was excellent, as it always is. The menu has something for everyone and if what you want is not written, they will make it for you! A most agreeable lunch that prepared us for the walk downwards.
Als ich dieses Restaurant zum zweiten Mal besuchte, nieste ein Koch auf einen Teller und servierte Essen darauf, und dieses Mal war das Essen ungenießbar. Stellen Sie sich verarbeitetes Hühnchen vor, übermäßig salzig, etwas Ölsoße darübergetropft und mit kalten Pommes Frites serviert. Konnte es nicht essen. Wegen der durchweg schlechten Erfahrung isst hier niemand mehr, den wir kennen. Trinken Sie ausschließlich Kaffee oder ein Getränk und gehen Sie dann woanders hin, der Ihre Schirmherrschaft verdient. This place just gets better. Last year we had a really great lunch and thought it could not be bettered. Well, I'm glad to say we were wrong. I had Swiss entrecote, cooked to perfection on the outside grill and perfectly garnished. My partner had an equally well prepared and perfectly presented fluffy omelette. Service, location (at 1800m) and ambience were also great. We accompanied this with a lovely local Ollon white. The walk to Taveyenne was just the perfect digestive. Try it! We have been coming here with the whole family for 6 years. Service is great, always with a smile. Carlos and his family are so welcoming. The location of this restaurant is great, just next to the ski school. They have a lovely terrace, and we are able to eat while keeping an eye on the kids that are skiing in front!
