Restaurant Gastronomic - Le Vallon de Valrugues

We had dinner here 3 times during our stay at the hotel and each dining experience was fantastic. The dining room was beautiful and spacious. In good weather there is a lovely terrace for outside dining. There was a great selection of cocktails, wine and...other beverages. The menu and al la carte choices were excellent. All the food was very fresh, of the best quality, perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious. Portions were pleasantly large. our first impressions were very positiw of vallon de valrugues were very positiw. Unfortunately, our experience at restaurant michelin was not good. my French is mediocre. we were supervised by a waitress who made it clear that she was...unsympathetic to our problems with the translation of the menu of gastronomics. after a long uncomfortable waiting came a senior member of the staff and helped us. the service for the rest of the evening felt however often brusque and perfunctory. in a hotel flies the flags of many nations at its front it seems useful to expect some multilingual support. this is a restaurant that has forgotten that an essential aspect of courtesy makes that guests feel welco...

Nous avons diné en amoureux avec le menu dégustation. Outre la terrasse superbe, et le personnel compétent et aimable, la cuisine nous a beaucoup plu. Elle est raffinée, et digne de la gastronomie Française. Tous les plats ne nous ont pas forcément séduits, mais c'est affaire de gout et en aucun cas un manque de qualité ou d'originalité.Le sommelier connait son affaire, mais les prix sont dans la fourchette très haute...Bref, c'est une excellente table que nous recommandons aux amoureux de la gastronomie que nous sommes.J'insiste sur la qualité du personnel, qui nous a beaucoup plu.

Jolie terrasse sous de vieux arbres magnifiques. Éclairage subtil. Belle table dressée (nappage, verres...). Personnel serviable. Nous avons pris le menu découverte. Bof ! Jolies présentations mais manque de saveurs, sauf le dessert. Et plats pas assez chauds.Carte des vins coûteuse. Sauf les rosés où nous avons trouvé un excellent Coteaux D'Aix 2016 Domaine d'Eol à 35 €. Pas vu de vin au verre ou de demie bouteille.Diner à deux pour 165 euros. Et c'est l'option "économique" ;-)... Plaisir mitigé...

Nous avons mangé en soirée dans ce restaurant ,sur une terrasse magnifique.Nous avons assisté au ballet des serveurs qui etaient tous aux petits soins .Nous avons pris le menu Valrugues en 6 plats .Tout était excellent,Et les quantités étaient très équilibrés pour qu'on arrive au bout du repas sans problème .On a adoré.L'étoile n'est pas loin.C'était un moment magique.À recommander!

Besides the incredibly delicious food, the service was impeccable. The waiter definitely helped us with our selections and we were not disappointed. We had many fabulous meals in France but this was the best, by far! We still talk about it months later.
