Wir haben diesen Ort gewählt, da er der einzige in Wildhaus ist, von dem wir wussten, dass er sein normales à la carte-Menü zusammen mit einem speziellen 'Silvester'-Menü anbietet. Der Grund dafür ist... meine bessere Hälfte, natürlich Schweizer, hat einen extrem begrenzten Geschmack und isst kaum etwas anderes als Hühnchen, Kartoffeln, Pasta und Salat. Letztendlich hat auch meine Freundin das Menü gewählt, da sie nur eine begrenzte Auswahl à la carte anboten. Unser Menü bestand aus 5 Gängen und einem Amuse Bouche zum Start. Leider war alles nur Durchschnitt. 85 Franken für ein 5-Gänge-Menü sind in diesem überteuert...
We actually spent our New Year's eve at this restaurant.We opted for this place because it's the only one in Wildhaus that we were aware about that was offering it's normal à la carte menu along with a special 'Silvester' menu. Reason being is my other half, being Swiss of course, has extremely limited tastes and doesn't eat much other than chicken, potatoes, pasta and salad.In the end, my girl also opted for the menu because they were only offering a limited à la carte selection.Our menu consisted of 5 courses as well as an amuse bouche to start off with. We walked in at around 18:30 and were greeted by a nervous manager (in a tie). He asked us whether we had reserved and we said no. He then said that there was no space without offering any other suggestions. My partner then asked if any of the tables beside the bar and the fumoir were available (where we had dined before) and he agreed and seated us. As a former hotelier, I found that off-putting. How is it that a manager does not know the seating capacity of his restaurant? Tolle Umgebung und sehr entspannt, hervorragendes Personal, die Kellnerin heute Abend war super nett zu uns. Ich habe einen Burger bestellt, er war unglaublich, frisches Fleisch und Gemüse, die Sauce war wirklich gut. Hervorragende Erfahrung!! Der Preis war durchschnittlich.
Eine der besten Pizzen, die ich je gegessen habe! Der Service war gut, man musste nicht lange warten. Ich empfehle allen, in der Gegend vorbeizuschauen! Auch der Preis ist fair für einen Touristenort!
