Restaurant le Saint Martin

We were passing from there and it was time to stop and have dinner. However as this town doesn't have many restaurant, we were not spoilt for choice. To the contrary the only restaurant open was Restaurant le Saint Martin. Its a small restaurant and its rather basic, but nothing wrong with that. We ordered food. I had a pizza and my girlfriend had a beef steak. My pizza was more of a marshmallow, and it was soaked in mozzarella water. The dough had cewwing gum properties. The ham on top tasted good, but that is about it. My girlfriend's steak was great to look at and hopeless to taste. It was evident that the meat was not taken out of the fridge/freezer early enough. Error on order I called to report the answer I had was that there was an hour waiting to make a pizza that I was not a priority despite the error that came from them. I explained to them that pizza was for my son and I couldn't wait an hour to make him eat. I asked them if they could make pizza between orders, they told me he didn't care. Besides disgusting pizza. Neither the boss nor the waitress wear masks and the boss smokes in the restaurant.

Restaurant sympathique , accueil chaleureux .Cuisine locale délicieuse : salade beaujolaise ,gâteau de foie servi avec des quenelles en sauce tomate , le tout accompagne d ' un bon vin blanc.En dessert , tarte au chocolat savoureuse . Très bon rapport qualité / prix .

Depuis 4 ans ,nous organisons une sortie dans le Beaujolais, et à chaque fois, nous revenons manger au St Martin, avec toujours le même plaisir ,Deux menus seulement mais avec des spécialités régionales et à un prix très raisonnable.

Le 22 Novembre, c'était menu unique avec au choix une choucroute ou un faux-filet. Très bon accueil et la choucroute était très bonne. Excellent rapport qualité /prix

Très bien accueilli, menu a 22 € très copieux, pizzas très bonne.je le conseille car rapport qualité prix il n y a rien a dire . serveuse très sympathique
