My wife and I celebrated a special occasion with the 7 course degustation menu which included matched wines with each course. Harvey Bay scallops with lemongrass coconut broth zucchini noodle, cherry tomato and candied lime was full of fresh flavours which complemented perfectly cooked scallops. The wines were all Sirromet's own and the first course was matched with their Signature selection chardonay Pinot noir sparkling which was crisp and clean. We had booked into A Day on the Green at Sirromet Winery and decided to book into Lurleen's restaurant for lunch prior. We had dined there a few years ago and remembered thoroughly enjoying the experience. We were on the veranda which had a lovely casual ambiance and view, while we could see inside was a more formal setting which also looked lovely, The architecture and interior design is vast and impressive. Our waitress was clearly inexperienced which didn't get us off to a great start and as we all know first impressions count.As for the food entrees presented with scallops that weer not translucent and the accompanying pork belly was under cooked. This thankfully was the only criticism on the food, but when you are in this price bracket this is simply not acceptable.The wine we ordered was brought out and placed close by whilst she attended to another table then brought it over 10 mins later. Just terrific and Tessa was our server - she was wonderful! What was better the Eye Fillet, View, Tessa or the atmosphere?? All of it was excellent and the nicest place to celebrate a birthday, wedding or anniversary.Food was delicious and we enjoyed EVERYTHING. We don't get to Brisbane often, but when we do, breakfast at Lurleen's is a must! Always an amazing place to go hang out after a lovely breakfast of Eggs Benedict...on a beautiful day. Wine tasting is nice. Beautiful location, good service...prices (for breakfast) are reasonable. We'll be back!
My wife and I had lunch here to mark her birthday. We have been before and as always have found the food and service to be impeccable. Pricey but good. Views from the balcony go to the Islands and bay while the breeze can be a little fresh. Choose your seat accordingly.
My husband and I have made our lunch at Lurleen's our wedding anniversary tradition. We love the food, we are always made to feel so very special by the staff and we go home every year more in love. Thank you Lurleen's xxx

Beautiful outlook, friendly waiters, great food up market atmosphere, with great wines from their local vineyard.
