Durant notre balade à moto en castaniccia, nous traversons, le village de Valle d'Alesani. Sur la route, nous tombons sur une belle terrasse ombragée par une magnifique glycine et l'heure du repas étant là, on décide de s'y arrêter.Il y a deux tables occupées, les autres sont libres.Une gentille serveuse approche et attend que je lui demande si l'on peut encore déjeuner (il est 12:40h). "Oui, pas de problème, vous souhaitez un apéro ? " oui merci, une Pietra et un coca..." Cette serveuse, n'est jamais revenue nous demander ce que l'on souhaitait manger parce que c'est son autre collègue qui prend les commandes à table....A 13:30h, sort de sa cuisine, la cuistot qui daigne enfin nous annoncer...

Nous sommes un groupe de dix, il est 13H30 et nous cherchons un endroit pour nous restaurer dans cette superbe région de la Castagniccia. La responsable nous accueille avec réserve: le ciel est incertain et elle n'a "pas grand chose à nous proposer". Devant notre insistance, elle nous propose un assortiment de produits locaux et nous installe une table en terrasse. Un énorme plateau arrive: charcuterie locale, terrine maison, salade, délicieux beignets au fromage, salade, fromage corse et fiadone maison. We are a group of ten, it is 1:30 pm and we are looking for a place to restore us in this beautiful region of castagniccia. the person in charge welcomes us with reserve: the sky is uncertain and it has "no big thing to propose". In front of our insistence, it offers a range of local products and installs a table on the terrace. a huge tray arrives: local charcuterie, homemade terrine, salad, delicious cheese dough, salad, Corsican cheese and homemade fiadone. one of the best meals of our Corsica journey with wine and coffee and for a modest sum of about 15€ per person. hospitality and Corsican authenticity! sometimes there are unpredictable moments and magical places in a journey.
