On a special occasion, after a first disappointment, we decided to test out the Wagyu again. We had booked a table via a booking service site which offered 30% discount on a la carte dining. When we arrived the restaurant was, as it was a Monday, fairly empty, and we had the choice of seating. We sat in the veranda which, through its big windows allows you a wonderful view over the lake and the harbour. The service was very nice. On ordering we avoided though, as at the first time, the beef. As a starter we ordered the Tempura Moriawase. It was a great pleasure and tasted really good. After that we ordered the Maki (16 pieces), the rainbow Maki (8 pieces), the Sashimi Salmon and Tuna (6 piec...
I’ordered the menu that includes that wagyu beef steak, and other Maki and Sushi items for the rest of my guests. Unfortunately there’s nothing special about the sushi or maki, in fact, there are better quality sushi and maki found in other places at a much competitive prices. However, the Wagyu steak was fine, and this only allowed me to give additional rating point from 2 to 3. Maybe someone else have a different perspective on rating this Joint, but personally I won’t give it another try.
Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Es ist stilvoll, mit eigenem Parkplatz und direkt am Seeufer mit herrlichem Blick auf den Hafen und den See. Das Essen ist köstlich und mit offensichtlicher Sorgfalt frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war sehr höflich und immer da, wenn wir es brauchten. Der Preis ist etwas höher als in durchschnittlichen Restaurants, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder dort zu essen!
Nicely located and easily accessible by feet or by car. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and good. The food is pretty good and there's a good selection. A little pricey but nothing extraordinary for Switzerland.
