I am really not one to go out of my way to review things online but you give credit where credit is due and Frade dos Mares, wow. I enjoy good food and I love eating out but I have never been to a restaurant where every individual dish was exceptional, from appetisers, to entreés through to dessert. Every single one was 10/10! What a pleasure to dine here and on such a special day as my birthday. Never have I had octopus so tender (grilled to perfection), and my friend doesn't even favour mussels but he absolutely loved yours! Great cuisine and service. From the moment you get inside, you can feel really special. I really recommend the excellent Polvo a lagareiro! And remember to ring the bell if you want to enter; I've never seen anything like this before but it makes the place even more special!

Food was amazing, no doubt, only issue is that despite paying an arm and a leg for a fine dining experience we still get 2 hours. Felt very rushed, wish they did not have the 2 hour rule maybe 3 hours?. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Had an incredible lunch of Shrimps and Octopus Lagareiro-style, with excellent attentive service. Highly recommended. It was almost fully booked on a weekday for lunch, so call in advance.
