Pedimos sopa de cação e carne de porco à Alentejana, que estavam razoáveis. Mas o empregado Dono Alex foi tão inacreditavelmente mal educado, rude e antipático que nos tirou a todos a vontade de comer. Não voltaremos com toda a certeza. We ordered Sopa de Cação and Carne de Porco à Alentejana, which were reasonable. But the employee owner Alex was so incredibly rude and unfriendly that it took away our desire to eat. We won't be back for sure.

We stayed in Evora only one night and it was difficult to chose a restaurant for dinner because there are so many small restaurants in Evora. So we dicedid to go to O Antao since it offered local food with reasonable price. A great choise because the food was good and really local and the waiter also suggested good local (Alentejo) wine for dinner. Thanks !

Encontramos o restaurante O Antão por acaso, sendo um dos poucos restaurantes a ser aberto em uma noite chuvosa em Évora. Surpresa de grão, porque o menu é muito variado com alimentos regionais e acessíveis. Excelente localização, perto da praça central e com excelente serviço. Escolhemos o coelho alentejano e migas com carne de porco.. tudo maravilhoso!

Fantastic fish soup in Alentejo style. Full of aroma and herbs , very delicate but so full in taste. Very, very good and rich! We ordered a fresh salad as for the starter and it was good as well. Worth recomendation undoubtly! Very nice service Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Boa comida, serviço não amigável, mas eficiente. Ementas (físico) parou no tempo, com fotos de comida, com má limpeza. O restaurante estaria ganhando muito se ele atualizou todo o marketing.

We ate in a few restaurants in Evora and this was the best one. Offers a good selection of reasonably priced local Alentejan fare. The pork was meltingly tender and very well flavoured.

Over priced for average food. Close to Evora main square, the location is good. Sadly the experience isn’t. The restaurant appearance is good and clean. Just over priced

Not the cheapest for the quality of food but good . Menu felt limited. Nice server. On the main strip so certainly catering to the tourists.

Nice staff, the restaurant smells delicious, good traditional food. Excellent location, close to a very central square
