We had walked to the end of Paseo Maritimo and stopped here for drinks and a rest. It is situated in an excellent location overlooking the promenade and the beach. We sat and watched the world go by and enjoyed our drinks and chatting to the staff. After a while the place got very busy and people started ordering food which looked so appetising….. We couldn’t resist trying some local dishes, the Melon Jamon Pais and the Mejillones Marinera were absolutely wonderful, served with a basket of very fresh tasty bread and a bottle of Blanco de la Casa all for 36 Euros was fantastic value. An excellent restaurant at excellent prices.
Went here for a quick lunch and was delighted by the food quality and presentation. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the position right on the sea front exceptional. We shared a pizza (the best we've had in many years) and then a dessert both courses exceptionally good. We also went here just for a drink one evening and, even though it was time for evening meals to be ordered, we were invited in and made to feel very welcome. First class!
Been to this restaurant many times as live locally, never let you down we fancied hamburger best in town asked with no fries but potato bravas and side portion of red cabbage, carrot in mayonnaise just fantastic, 1 cana and 1cerv sin alcohol bill was 28.80 can't beat that, plus service was as normal great, sorry they shut in October. But will be back next season.
Took my niece for first time, didn't let me down, waiter as attentive as always recommending what specials they had that day, we both chose the fresh tuna which was cooked to perfection (thank you chef) restaurant packed as always but staff always there with smiles. Thanks for making it a lovely lunch. Will be back soon.
